By booking a room at Hermiston Inn & Suites, guests agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your reservation or checking in.
1. Reservations & Payment
A valid photo ID and matching credit card are required at check-in. All guests must be 18 years of age or older to book and occupy a room. Check-in cannot be completed until full payment and security deposit pre-authorization have been received and approved.
A pre-authorization hold of $100 may be placed on the credit card at check-in. Refunds, where applicable, may take five to seven business days to appear on the account.
The hotel is not responsible for honoring incorrect, misrepresented, excluded, or inaccurate content displayed by third-party websites. Extensions of stay may not be at the same rate or in the same room type. Single-bed rooms accommodate up to two guests; multi-bed rooms accommodate up to four guests.
2. Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: 3:00 PM. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes past the check-in time forfeit any refund for that night.
- Check-out: 11:00 AM. Guests who check out early on non-refundable reservations forfeit the remaining balance.
- Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.
- The credit card used for booking must be present at check-in unless prior alternate arrangements have been made.
3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
For standard rate reservations, guests may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the local check-in date and time. Prepaid or non-refundable rate types are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

4. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to treat hotel staff, fellow guests, and property with respect at all times.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
- Guests are responsible for any damages to hotel property, whether intentional or accidental.
- Guests agree not to do anything that would make the rooms noncompliant with health, safety, or fire codes.
- No charcoal grills are permitted on the property. Gas grills must be used at least 20 feet away from any building.
5. ADA Policy
Hermiston Inn & Suites complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessible rooms are available upon request. Please contact us in advance so we can best accommodate your needs.
6. Smoking Policy
All guest rooms and interior spaces are strictly non-smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices. Violation of this policy will result in a $500 cleaning and repair fee. The property is drug-free and prohibits illegal drugs and marijuana.
7. Fire Safety Equipment & Tampering
Tampering with fire safety equipment — including smoke detectors, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, or pull stations — is prohibited and will result in a $500 fee per incident per smoke detector, in addition to any applicable legal penalties.
8. Parking Policy
Complimentary parking is provided in our on-site lot. The hotel is not responsible for damage, accidents, or loss involving vehicles or personal property. Vehicles must have current registration; no repairs are to be performed on the property.
Inoperable or abandoned vehicles will receive one warning; if not removed within 24 hours, the vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense without additional notice.
9. Pet Policy
Dogs are welcome at Hermiston Inn & Suites with the following conditions:
- A non-refundable fee of $20 per pet, per night applies.
- A maximum of two dogs are permitted per room, each weighing 50 lbs. or less.
- Pets may not be left unattended in rooms. Violation will result in eviction of the guest without refund.
- Any accidents in the room will incur a $500 cleaning fee.
- Cats, birds, reptiles, and wild animals are not permitted.
10. Service Animal Policy
In compliance with the ADA, trained service animals are permitted without pet fees. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal violates Oregon law and may result in a civil penalty or fine. Emotional support animals are subject to the standard pet policy above.
11. Firearms Policy
Firearms, knives over 4 inches in length, and explosives are strictly prohibited on the property. Exceptions apply only to law enforcement and designated military personnel who are on active duty. Noncompliance may result in a permanent ban from the property and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
12. Illegal Substances Policy
Illegal substances are NOT permitted on the property. No exceptions. Violations will result in immediate eviction and may be reported to law enforcement.
13. Room Inspection & Cleaning Policy
For the safety and wellbeing of all guests, the hotel conducts a mandatory Wellness and Safety Inspection of each occupied room at least once every 48 hours. Staff may enter rooms at any time for reasonable business purposes, including inspections, maintenance, and safety checks.
- Inspections will occur regardless of the presence of a "Do Not Disturb" sign.
- Management retains the right of immediate entry without prior notice in emergency situations.
- Refusal of a scheduled inspection may result in a $100 fee per denied visit and immediate termination of the guest's stay without refund.
14. Liability & Safety
The hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal property. Employees will not disclose guest identity, room number, or presence to anyone except appropriate law enforcement. Safety cameras are used throughout public areas of the property.
15. Privacy & Data Protection
Guest information is securely stored and used solely for processing payments, booking fulfillment, and legal compliance. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
16. Force Majeure
Hermiston Inn & Suites shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, strikes, or any other circumstance beyond reasonable control that makes normal hotel operations impossible.
17. Your Agreement
By creating a reservation or checking in, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
